Meet the teacher!
Aiano (they/she) is a queer dance artist, educator, and researcher. Aiano's teaching integrates their backgrounds in gender studies, ethnic studies, dance, and early childhood development. They have extensive teaching experience in early childhood and family dance education with a focus in exploring power, agency, and consent. Aiano believes dance offers people of all ages an opportunity to play, explore, and create in ways that honor all of one's self. Fun fact: Aiano is a second-generation early childhood dance educator, just like her mom!
